Nothing needs to be done to them before being installed! Both come ready to bolt on and ride with spring and weights already in the primary and the spring and helix already in secondary! Both sides come ready to bolt on and use! The primary clutch is same style and comes as the original primary clutch.

The secondary is the tied style like came on RZR and LE editions only on Ranger 900 XP only. It gets rid of the problematic Rapid Reaction secondary in favor of this fully serviceable Tied type secondary as seen! Another benefit of going to this Tied style is longer belt life!
