Stronger billet faceplate - prevents moveable sheave guide tower flex, which is the leading cause of premature spider puck wear. Open faceplate design - runs cooler through better airflow, and reduced tower flex means less binding and heat buildup. Splined spider instead of threaded - eliminates the stripped-thread failures seen in higher-HP threaded-spider applications. 1-1/4" thread engagement on the spider jamb nut - a 400% increase over the 1/4" engagement used on OEM and OEM-copy clutches, which is a common cause of jamb nuts loosening and the spider unthreading (catastrophic failure). Rectangular 26mm x 20mm spider pucks - 150% more surface area than OEM's round 16mm pucks.
Since all engine power transfers through these pucks to the moveable sheave, larger pucks mean significantly longer clutch life. Hardened stainless steel puck liners on the moveable sheave - prevents pucks from wearing into the aluminum tower, which is what causes puck looseness over time. 42CrMo gas-nitrided shaft (HRC 54-60 hardness).
Billet tool steel hardened weights with a wide base for stability. Phenolic spider pucks and moveable sheave bushing - the most durable materials available for these components.
